After a wonderful day of exploring your surroundings, venture into the property, which exudes a sense of contemporary elegance from the outset, and make your way into the spacious open-plan living room, acting as the heart of the home, where you can all gather each evening. Light up the open fire during the winter months to fill the room with a gentle warmth as you kick back on the sofa and flick on the TV or rustle up a delicious meal within the kitchen, where you will find everything you will need to cater to your culinary needs. Joining the space is a large dining table, where you can host your evening meals or while away a couple of hours enjoying board games brought from home. Continuing to impress, the property boasts a separate snug, so that you can escape the excitement of the rest of the group to snuggle into the L shaped sofa and delve into that book that you have been meaning to read.

Whilst here, be sure to stroll along the picturesque estuary or if you are feeling adventurous, try your hand at one of the many watersports available, including surfing and kayaking, as well as boat trips for those wishing to explore the waters a more leisurely way. After brushing up on the local history with a visit to the Salcombe Maritime Museum, venture to the nearby National Trust-owned Overbeck's and take time to explore the sub-tropical gardens, home to exotic and rare plants.

If you are visiting during the summer months, find two beautiful beaches within close reach of the property, North Sands and South Sands, both promising great days out beneath the sun with the family. You could also catch the Salcombe ferry over to East Portlemouth Beach, before visiting the delights of Small's Cove, Mill Bay and Sunny Cove Beach.

From the cottage, you will also find plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling, with the famous South West Coast Path on your doorstep, where you are promised some breath-taking views along the way!
