Private parking is available in the garage, and you can enter the property at street level, where you will find hooks to hang up your coats, before heading up the staircase to the first floor of the property. The property is within walking distance of a plethora of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as the picturesque Royal Avenue Gardens, which sits alongside the idyllic harbour. Visit the 16th century Tudor fortress of Bayard's Cove Fort, along with Dartmouth Castle, which overlooks the Dart Estuary and enjoy a day at the beach on the golden sand of Sugary Cove Beach. Hire a boat to cross the river to Kingswear, where you'll find a castle, facing out towards Dartmoor Castle, as well as the National Trust's Coleton Fishacre House & Gardens, and enjoy exploring the south coast further by train with a journey along the Dartmouth Steam Railway. Walkers and cyclists can join the South West Coast Path to find a lovely selection of beaches within the South Devon AONB towards Salcombe, while heading east from Kingswear will lead towards the stunning English Riviera and the seaside towns of Brixham and Paignton. Visit Dartmouth Castle, superbly located in the mouth of the estuary with wonderful views from the top tower and has been guarding the area since 1388. Explore Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie now run by the National Trust. Nearby Woodlands theme park boasts the largest watercoasters in Devon, a farm with all the family favourites including meerkats, all set within beautiful grounds of 100 acres. Take a trip on one of the many ferries and head out for a day to explore nearby Salcombe, Torquay or Totnes or stay on land and explore the English Riviera on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
