2 Prospect House is a beautiful 2 bedroom New England style ground floor apartment in an award winning development perched in an outstanding position on the cliffs above Start Bay.

The front terrace and communal gardens really showcase the amazing sea views and dramatic coastline reaching from Start Point to the mouth of the River Dart. A truly stunning location to relax and enjoy sunrise with a coffee or a glass of bubbly as the sun goes down. If that's not enough the well maintained grounds and heated outdoor pool (open May until September) along with a tennis court are sure to keep all ages entertained. This property really is a hidden gem for your South Devon holiday.

The nearby, historic ruined village of Hallsands is well worth a visit or explore the famous South West Coastal Path, which is right on the doorstep with fabulous walks along rugged cliffs that dip into sandy coves offering some of the best scenery in the UK. Alternatively, pack up and head over the hill to the beach at North Hallsands. The nearby villages of Beesands, South Pool and Stokenham and Chillington all boast superb pubs. The Cricket and Britannia seafood restaurant at Beesands can be walked too via the cliff path and is just over 2 miles to work up an appetite. The town of Kingsbridge has all amenities, just twenty five minutes away, and the historic town of Dartmouth can be reached along the coastal road, where a good selection of shops and galleries along with eateries await you. Popular Salcombe can be reached via the foot ferry from East Portlemouth or by road forty minutes away. The beautiful beaches of Slapton Sands, Millbay and East Portlemouth are all just twenty minutes away, and keen walkers can enjoy a trip to Dartmoor.

Area Details


Hallsands is made up of two small villages on the South Devon Coast, North Hallsands and South Hallsands. Part of the popular South Hams area it also lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hallsands Beach is a pretty stretch of shingle beach and it is possible to walk to Beesands Beach at low tide which is 1 mile in length. Much of the clifftop land in the area is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for birds and walkers with the South West Coast Path passing through the area. Lots to explore in the area including Blackpool Sands, Slapton Beach, Salcombe and Kingsbridge with all they have to offer and East Prawle, the most southerly point in Devon.
