Situated on the edge of Thurlestone Sands, enjoying sweeping views towards Bigbury Bay, ‘Thurlestone Rock’ is a development of spacious marine apartments. The iconic Thurlestone Rock arch and Burgh Island provide a coastal backdrop, whilst the adjacent coastal path offers wonderful walks. It is the perfect bolthole for those that love true coastal living! 10 Thurlestone Rock is a first-floor apartment, with spectacular sea views from both the living room, master bedroom, and outdoor terrace. The contemporary and stylish open plan living area boasts doors that lead to a private outdoor area (table and chairs provided). The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a small breakfast bar that seats two and a dining table, seating six. The separate utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. The lounge area is comfortable, with a TV, video and CD player. The master bedroom has a super-King size bed, ample storage and en suite bathroom with a combined bath and power shower. The second bedroom also has a super-King size bed (which can be split on request into two singles). The third bedroom is a little smaller, with full-size bunk beds. In addition to the master en suite, there is a further bathroom with shower cubicle, bath and heated towel rail. Additionally, guests have use of the communal patio area with barbeque facility and sun deck, and exclusive use of the outdoor heated swimming pool (during peak season - late May to late September). There is one allocated parking space, plus visitors spaces.

Thurlestone

Thurlestone is an increasingly popular holiday destination located in the South Hams area of Devon. Just 5 miles from Kingsbridge, the coastal village has one of the most dramatic coastlines along the South Devon Coast with the impressive Thurlestone Rock, an arch-shaped rock just off the main beach which is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Made up of two beaches, both beaches are sandy, sheltered and the waters are shallow enough to allow children to have a safe paddle in. This is the perfect location if you are looking for a beautiful sandy beach, stunning countryside without the crowds that some of the other South Devon beaches attract. The beach is pet-friendly all year round, has won an award from the Marine Conservation Society thanks to its clean waters and has lifeguards between May and September.

Walk along the coast a short way and you will find South Milton which has a beachside cafe and plenty of water sports to try. Many of our Thurlestone holiday cottages are just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and have sea views. We can cater from romantic breaks for two to accommodating large families or groups of friends. This is a special area to visit and relax in.
