The sandy beaches at Bigbury-on-Sea and Bantham are great for families with shallow shelving, sandy beaches. Take the sea tractor from Bigbury beach to explore Burgh Island, which has links to Agatha Christie. From this base, it is easy to explore the delights of Dartmoor National Park which is just a 25-minute drive away.
